Join our dedicated team as a Qualified Social Worker in the Looked After Children (LAC) Team in Hull. We are seeking a passionate and committed individual to support vulnerable children and young people in achieving their best outcomes. In this role, you will work collaboratively with children, families, and multi-agency partners to ensure the safety, stability, and well-being of those in care.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing care plans tailored to individual needs. Building trusting relationships with children and young people to empower them in their journey. Ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and policies while maintaining high standards of practice. Collaborating with schools, healthcare providers, and other agencies to provide holistic support. Monitoring and reviewing the progress of children in care, ensuring their voices are heard.To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Demonstrated experience working with children and families, particularly in a looked-after context. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
