Are you a passionate and dedicated social worker looking to make a difference in the lives of children and families? The Localities Team in Wakefield is seeking a Qualified Social Worker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work support to children and their families, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Providing ongoing support and intervention to children and families, ensuring their voices are heard. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with legal requirements and best practices. Participating in multi-agency meetings and working collaboratively with other services to ensure holistic support.To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
Qualified Social Worker status with a relevant degree or equivalent qualification. Registered with Social Work England. Strong understanding of child protection legislation and safeguarding practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
