Join our dynamic Locality Team in Central Bedfordshire as a Children’s Social Worker! We are seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to make a positive impact on the lives of children and families within our community. In this role, you will work collaboratively with families, agencies, and other professionals to ensure the safety and well-being of children, providing them with the support they need to thrive.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough assessments of children's needs and circumstances. Developing and implementing care plans in partnership with families and other stakeholders. Monitoring and reviewing progress to ensure the effectiveness of interventions. Providing direct support and guidance to children and families, including crisis intervention. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with local and national policies.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England (SWE). Experience working with children and families in a social work setting. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound judgments.
