Are you a dedicated and passionate social worker looking to make a difference in the lives of children and families? Join our Locality Team in Derbyshire as a Children’s Social Worker. We are seeking qualified professionals who are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. In this role, you will work collaboratively with families, communities, and multi-agency partners to ensure the best outcomes for children in need.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments and developing care plans for children and families. Carrying out statutory duties in relation to child protection and looked-after children. Providing support and guidance to families, ensuring they have access to necessary resources. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with local and national standards. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to case discussions.The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Current registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children and families in a social work setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
