We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's Social Worker to join our Locality Team in Gloucestershire. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to children and families in need within the local community.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Undertaking assessments of children and families to identify their needs and develop appropriate care plans. Managing a caseload of complex cases, ensuring timely intervention and support. Working collaboratively with other professionals, such as health practitioners and educators, to provide holistic support to children and families. Participating in multi-agency meetings and reviews to ensure the best outcomes for children in care. Providing expert advice and guidance to colleagues and partner agencies on child protection issues.Essential Qualifications and Skills:
Qualified Social Worker with a relevant degree and HCPC registration. Demonstrated experience in working with children and families in a social work setting. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make evidence-based decisions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities.Additional Requirements and Benefits:
