As a Children's Social Worker in the MASH team, your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting assessments and investigations to identify risks and needs of children and families. Collaborating with multi-agency partners to develop and implement effective safeguarding plans. Providing expert advice and guidance to colleagues and stakeholders regarding child protection matters. Maintaining accurate and detailed case records in accordance with local policy and statutory requirements. Participating in regular team meetings and case reviews to ensure the highest standards of practice.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work or equivalent). Registration with Social Care Wales and a commitment to ongoing professional development. Strong knowledge of child safeguarding legislation and practice. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children, families, and professionals. Ability to work under pressure and manage a varied caseload.
