Are you a passionate and dedicated social worker looking to make a difference in the lives of children and families? Hackney Council is seeking a Qualified Social Worker to join our Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) Team. In this role, you will work collaboratively with various agencies to ensure the safety and well-being of children in our community. Your expertise will be vital in assessing needs, managing complex cases, and providing support to families in crisis.
As a member of the MASH Team, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify risks and support needs. Collaborating with partner agencies to develop integrated support plans. Managing a caseload of complex safeguarding cases, ensuring timely interventions. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with local and national standards. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to the development of safeguarding policies.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding. Strong assessment and analytical skills.
