The London Borough of Croydon is seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children's Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) Team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of children and families in our community. As a key member of the MASH Team, you will work collaboratively with various agencies to ensure the safety and well-being of children at risk.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families in need of support. Collaborating with partner agencies to share information and develop effective safeguarding plans. Providing advice and support to families to promote positive outcomes. Managing a caseload of complex cases while adhering to statutory requirements and best practice guidelines. Participating in regular team meetings and contributing to the continuous improvement of services.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, CQSW, DipSW). Current registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in children's social work, particularly in safeguarding and assessment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
