The London Borough of Haringey is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children's Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) Team. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and families in our community. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in safeguarding vulnerable children and promoting their welfare.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Conducting initial assessments and investigations into safeguarding concerns. Collaborating with partner agencies to gather information and ensure a holistic approach to child welfare. Developing and implementing care plans that address the needs of children and their families. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with statutory and organizational requirements. Providing support and guidance to families, empowering them to make positive changes.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in children's social work, particularly in safeguarding and assessment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
