Nottingham's Permanence Team is seeking a Qualified Social Worker to join our dynamic and supportive environment. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safety, stability, and well-being of children in care, working towards achieving permanency for them in a timely manner.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with children, families, and multi-agency partners. Providing ongoing support and guidance to foster carers and adoptive families. Participating in court proceedings and presenting evidence to support the best interests of the child. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.To be considered for this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children and families in a statutory setting. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
