We are seeking a passionate and qualified Social Worker who is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. In this role, you will work collaboratively with families, partner agencies, and internal teams to ensure that the needs of vulnerable children are met and that they are protected from harm.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments and developing tailored intervention plans for children and families. Working closely with children, parents, and caregivers to establish trusting relationships. Managing a caseload of children in need, ensuring timely and effective intervention. Collaborating with schools, health professionals, and other agencies to provide holistic support. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to safeguarding strategies. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with legislation and policy.To be considered for this position, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A relevant Social Work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in children's social work, particularly in safeguarding roles. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to working with families.
