Join our dedicated Children's Safeguarding Team in Northamptonshire as a Qualified Social Worker, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of children and families within our community. You will work collaboratively with families, other professionals, and agencies to assess needs, develop support plans, and promote positive outcomes for children at risk.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting thorough assessments of children and families in need of support. Developing and implementing care plans to address identified needs. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with safeguarding regulations. Working closely with multi-agency teams to coordinate services and interventions. Providing support and guidance to families to help them navigate challenges. Participating in court proceedings and presenting evidence as required.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Demonstrable experience in children's social work, particularly in safeguarding. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families. Sound knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding practices.
