We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's Social Worker to join our Safeguarding Team in Portsmouth. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of vulnerable children and families in the local community.

Key responsibilities and duties:

Conducting assessments and investigations into child protection concerns Developing and implementing care plans to support children at risk Working collaboratively with other agencies and professionals to provide holistic support Attending court hearings and meetings to represent the best interests of children Providing support and guidance to families to promote positive outcomes

Essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker with a recognized social work qualification Registered with Social Work England Demonstrated experience in child protection and safeguarding Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a complex caseload
