Join our dedicated Children's Safeguarding Team in Telford and Wrekin as a Qualified Social Worker, where your expertise will make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families. In this role, you will work collaboratively with families, schools, and other agencies to ensure the best outcomes for children in our community.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments of children's needs and risks in accordance with safeguarding policies. Developing and implementing care plans that prioritize the safety and well-being of children. Building positive relationships with children and families to support their development and resilience. Collaborating with multi-agency teams to share information and coordinate interventions. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with statutory requirements.To be considered for this position, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in children's social work, particularly in safeguarding and child protection. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children and families.
