Join our dedicated Children's Safeguarding Team in Walsall as a Qualified Social Worker, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of children and young people in our community. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with families, partner agencies, and other professionals to provide high-quality support and intervention to those in need.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective care plans, ensuring the best outcomes for children. Managing a caseload of complex cases, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records. Working closely with multi-agency teams to safeguard children and promote their welfare. Providing emotional support and guidance to families, helping them navigate challenges.The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in children's social work, particularly in safeguarding and child protection. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
