Join our dedicated Children's Social Work (SCP) Team in Middlesbrough, where your expertise will make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families. We are seeking a passionate and qualified Social Worker who is committed to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of children. In this role, you will work collaboratively with families, community organizations, and other professionals to develop and implement effective interventions that support positive outcomes for children.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children's needs and circumstances. Developing and implementing care plans in partnership with families and relevant stakeholders. Managing a caseload effectively while ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and best practices. Providing support and guidance to families, helping them to access necessary resources and services. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and documentation in accordance with organizational policies.To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in children's social work, particularly in safeguarding and intervention. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
