We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Social Worker to join our Transition Team in Dudley. This vital role involves providing support and guidance to children and young people as they navigate significant life changes. You will work collaboratively with families, schools, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for our children, helping them transition smoothly into adulthood and independence.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Assessing the needs of children and their families to develop tailored support plans. Conducting regular visits and meetings to monitor progress and provide ongoing support. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and resources. Facilitating training and workshops for families to empower them in their support roles. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of casework and interventions.To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with the Social Work England. Experience working with children and families, particularly in transitional settings. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.Additional requirements include a valid driving license and access to a vehicle for travel within the community.
