As a Qualified Social Worker in the UASC Team, you will be responsible for:
Assessing the needs and risks of unaccompanied asylum-seeking children and developing appropriate care plans. Providing ongoing support and guidance to children, ensuring their emotional and physical well-being. Collaborating with external agencies, including health services and educational institutions, to facilitate integrated support. Conducting regular reviews of care plans to ensure they remain relevant and effective. Participating in court proceedings and presenting cases as required.To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with the Social Work England. Experience working with children and young people, particularly in a safeguarding or UASC context. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
