Join the Young People's Safeguarding Team in Peterborough as a Qualified Social Worker and make a significant impact in the lives of children and young people. We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual who is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable youth. In this role, you will work collaboratively with families, schools, and other agencies to ensure that the needs of children and young people are met effectively.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments and developing care plans to support children and young people at risk. Working closely with families to provide guidance and support, ensuring their voices are heard. Collaborating with multi-agency teams to implement safeguarding procedures and interventions. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Participating in court proceedings and presenting evidence as required.To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Experience in children's social work, particularly in safeguarding and child protection. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
