We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Children's Team Manager to lead our Assessment and Intervention Team in Oldham. This pivotal role requires a passionate individual who is committed to improving the lives of children and families within our community. As the Team Manager, you will oversee a dynamic team of social workers, ensuring high standards of practice and compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks. Key responsibilities include:
Managing and supervising a team of qualified social workers, providing guidance and support in complex casework. Ensuring effective assessment and intervention strategies are implemented to safeguard and promote the welfare of children. Monitoring and evaluating team performance, implementing improvements as necessary to enhance service delivery. A recognized social work qualification (e.g., DipSW, CQSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Significant experience in children's social work, with a proven track record in a managerial or supervisory role.
