We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Children's Team Manager for our Assessment Team in Bolton. This leadership role is crucial in ensuring the safety and well-being of children and young people in our community. As the Children's Team Manager, you will oversee a dynamic team of social workers, driving high-quality assessments and interventions while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Leading and managing the Assessment Team to ensure effective service delivery and adherence to statutory requirements. Supervising and supporting social workers in their assessments, ensuring best practices are followed. Collaborating with multi-agency partners to promote holistic support for children and families. Monitoring performance metrics and implementing strategies for improvement. Providing training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Significant experience in children's social work, with a strong understanding of assessment processes. Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to working collaboratively.
