Key responsibilities include:
Leading and managing a team of social workers and practitioners, providing supervision and support. Conducting assessments and developing tailored intervention plans for children and families. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies to ensure comprehensive support. Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of interventions and adjusting strategies as needed. Ensuring compliance with legislation, policies, and best practices in child protection and welfare.The ideal candidate will possess essential qualifications and skills, including:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, CSS, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Significant experience in children’s social work, including leadership or supervisory roles. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children, families, and professionals.
