We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Children's Team Manager to join our Access to Resources Team in Southwark. This vital role is focused on ensuring that children and families receive the appropriate support and resources they need. As a Team Manager, you will lead a dynamic team of qualified social workers, driving high standards of practice and promoting the welfare of children in our community.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Leading and managing a team of social workers to ensure effective service delivery. Overseeing case management, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and best practice standards. Developing and implementing policies and procedures that enhance service delivery. Providing supervision and support to team members, fostering professional development and growth. Collaborating with external agencies and stakeholders to secure resources for children and families.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A relevant social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Significant experience in children's social work, with a strong understanding of current legislation and frameworks. Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to collaborative working.
