Join our dedicated Children's TM - Assessment/CIN Team in Leeds, where your expertise in social work will make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families. We are seeking a qualified social worker who is passionate about safeguarding and enhancing the well-being of vulnerable children. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing care plans, and ensuring the effective delivery of services to support children in need.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and their families to identify needs and risks. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective intervention strategies. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with statutory requirements. Providing support and guidance to families, ensuring they are engaged in the process. Participating in regular supervision and team meetings to promote best practices and continuous improvement.To be considered for this position, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in children's social work, particularly in assessment and child in need (CIN) processes. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
