Key responsibilities include:
Leading and managing a team of social workers, providing supervision, support, and guidance. Ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and local policies in child protection and family support. Conducting performance appraisals and facilitating professional development opportunities for team members. Collaborating with external agencies and stakeholders to coordinate services and interventions for families. Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of service delivery and implementing improvements as needed.To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Significant post-qualification experience in children's social work, including management experience. Strong understanding of child development, safeguarding practices, and relevant legislation.
