We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Team Manager for our Children’s Team in the Oxfordshire area, specializing in Child and Family Services (C&F). This role is pivotal in ensuring the safety and well-being of children and young people, leading a team of qualified social workers in delivering high-quality services. As a Team Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing case management, providing guidance and support to your team, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading and managing a team of social workers, providing supervision and support to enhance professional development. Conducting regular team meetings and case discussions to ensure effective communication and collaborative practice. Monitoring and evaluating the quality of social work practice and ensuring adherence to local and national standards. Developing and implementing service improvement plans, ensuring the needs of children and families are at the forefront of service delivery. Building strong relationships with partner agencies and stakeholders to promote integrated working.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Significant post-qualification experience in children's social work, with a proven track record in a managerial role. Strong knowledge of legislation, policy, and best practices relating to child protection and family support. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
