Are you a passionate and dedicated social worker looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families? The Children's TM - Child Protection Team in Knowsley is seeking a Qualified Social Worker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in safeguarding children, promoting their welfare, and ensuring their best interests are at the forefront of all decisions.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Working closely with partner agencies to ensure a multi-agency approach to child protection. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and reports. Providing support, guidance, and training to foster carers and families. Participating in court proceedings and presenting evidence when necessary.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a caseload. Commitment to continuous professional development and training.
