Join our dedicated Children's TM - CIN Team in Leicester as a Qualified Social Worker, where you will play a vital role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children in our community. You will work collaboratively with families, schools, and other professionals to ensure that children receive the support they need to thrive. Your expertise will help us create a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable children and their families.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of children and families. Developing and implementing tailored care plans in partnership with families and other stakeholders. Managing a caseload effectively while ensuring timely interventions and follow-ups. Providing support, guidance, and advocacy for children and families in crisis. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with local policies and procedures.To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in children's social work, particularly within a Child in Need (CIN) context. Strong understanding of safeguarding practices and relevant legislation.
