Join our dedicated Children's TM - Connected Persons Team in Rochdale as a Qualified Social Worker, where you will play a vital role in supporting children and families in need. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively with various stakeholders to ensure the safety and well-being of children placed with connected persons. You will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing care plans, and providing ongoing support to families, ensuring that every child's voice is heard and valued.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting thorough assessments of connected persons, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Developing and implementing care plans tailored to the individual needs of children and their families. Working closely with other professionals, including educators, health services, and community organizations, to provide holistic support. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records, ensuring all documentation meets statutory requirements. Participating in team meetings and contributing to the continuous improvement of service delivery.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in child protection and social work practice. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload effectively.
