We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children’s TM - D&A Team in Nottingham. This role is essential for providing high-quality support and intervention to children and families in need, ensuring their safety and well-being. You will be part of a dynamic team committed to making a positive impact in the lives of vulnerable children and young people.
As a Qualified Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify their needs and risks. Developing and implementing tailored intervention plans that promote the welfare and development of children. Working collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to ensure a holistic approach to care. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in accordance with legal and organizational standards. Providing support and guidance to families, helping them navigate challenges and access necessary resources. Participating in team meetings, supervision, and training to continually enhance your skills and knowledge.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children and families in a social work setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
