Are you a passionate and dedicated social worker looking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families? Join our Children's Team in Wrexham as a Qualified Social Worker in the Family Support Team. We are committed to providing high-quality support and services to families in need, ensuring the safety and well-being of children in our community.
As a member of our Family Support Team, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments of children and families to identify their needs and develop tailored support plans. Working collaboratively with families, schools, and other agencies to implement interventions that promote positive outcomes. Providing ongoing support and guidance to families to empower them in overcoming challenges. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records, ensuring compliance with local authority policies and procedures. Participating in team meetings and contributing to the development of best practices within the team.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Care Wales (or eligibility to register). Demonstrable experience in child protection and family support work. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
