Join our dedicated Children's TM - Fostering Team in Manchester and make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families. We are seeking a passionate and skilled Qualified Social Worker who will play a crucial role in providing support and guidance to foster families and children in care. In this rewarding position, you will work collaboratively with various stakeholders to ensure the best outcomes for children, promoting their welfare and development.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Assessing and supporting foster carers to ensure they meet the needs of children placed in their care. Conducting regular visits and reviews to monitor the well-being of children and the effectiveness of placements. Developing and implementing care plans in partnership with children, families, and other professionals. Providing training and support to foster families, enhancing their skills and confidence. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with local authority policies and procedures.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Experience in children's social work, particularly in fostering or adoption. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
