We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children’s Front Door Team in Bolton. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, ensuring they receive the support they need.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting initial assessments and determining the appropriate level of intervention for children and families in need. Collaborating with multi-agency professionals to develop effective care plans and interventions. Responding to safeguarding concerns and ensuring compliance with local and national policies. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in accordance with statutory requirements. Providing support and guidance to families, helping them access resources and services.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Current registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
