Join our dedicated Children’s TM - Front Door Team in Devon as we strive to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families. As a Qualified Social Worker, you will be at the forefront of our efforts to provide support and guidance to those in need, ensuring their safety and well-being. This is a unique opportunity to work within a dynamic team that values collaboration, innovation, and the holistic development of children.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting initial assessments of children and families in need of support. Collaborating with multi-agency partners to develop and implement effective intervention plans. Managing a caseload of children and families, ensuring timely and appropriate follow-up. Providing advice and support to families, helping them navigate available resources. Documenting all assessments and interventions in accordance with legal and organizational policies.The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in children's social work, particularly in assessment and intervention. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
