We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children’s TM - Harm Outside the Home Team in Slough. This role is vital in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people who may be at risk of harm. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with families, schools, and external agencies to ensure that children receive the support and protection they need.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments to identify the needs of children and families. Developing and implementing care plans that prioritize the safety and wellbeing of children. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide effective interventions. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with legal and organizational standards. Providing support and guidance to families to help them achieve positive outcomes. Participating in court proceedings and presenting evidence as required.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
