Join our dedicated Children's TM - Safeguarding Team in Knowsley as a Qualified Social Worker, where you will play a crucial role in protecting and promoting the welfare of children in our community. We are seeking passionate individuals who are committed to making a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable children and their families. In this role, you will work collaboratively with various stakeholders to ensure the safety and well-being of children, while providing essential support to families in need.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing child protection plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Regularly reviewing cases to ensure that children’s safety and welfare are prioritized. Providing advice and support to families, helping them access additional services as needed. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with safeguarding policies. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to strategy discussions.

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, CQSW, DipSW). Current registration with Social Work England. Demonstrated experience in child protection and safeguarding practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload efficiently.
