We are seeking an experienced and passionate Qualified Social Worker who is committed to safeguarding vulnerable children and families. In this leadership role, you will oversee a team of social workers, providing guidance, support, and supervision to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Leading and managing a team of social workers, ensuring effective case management and adherence to safeguarding protocols. Conducting regular supervision and performance appraisals to foster professional development and improve outcomes for children. Collaborating with partner agencies to coordinate multi-agency responses to safeguarding concerns. Reviewing and approving assessments, care plans, and reports to ensure compliance with statutory requirements. Engaging with children, families, and stakeholders to promote positive relationships and effective communication.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Significant experience in children’s social work, particularly in safeguarding and child protection. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
