Join our dedicated Children’s TM - Support and Protection Team on the beautiful Isle of Wight, where you will play a vital role in safeguarding and supporting our community's most vulnerable children and families. We are seeking a passionate and qualified Social Worker to help us deliver high-quality interventions, ensuring that children's needs are met and their voices are heard. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and families, while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children's needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Providing ongoing support and guidance to children and families, ensuring their safety and well-being. Working closely with schools, health services, and other agencies to coordinate multi-agency support. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in line with statutory requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized Social Work qualification (Degree in Social Work, CQSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
