Join our dynamic Children's YO - Youth Justice Team in Solihull as a Qualified Social Worker, where you will play a pivotal role in supporting vulnerable young people and their families. Your expertise will help to promote positive outcomes and ensure that young individuals receive the guidance they need to thrive in their communities. We are seeking passionate professionals who are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of children and adolescents.

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for a range of key duties, including:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of young people involved in the youth justice system. Developing and implementing tailored intervention plans to address individual needs. Collaborating with multi-agency partners to ensure a holistic approach to support. Providing advocacy and support to young people and their families throughout the justice process. Monitoring and reviewing progress, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

To be successful in this role, you must possess essential qualifications and skills, including:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, CSS, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working within youth justice or a related field. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with young people. Sound knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in youth justice.
