We are seeking a Qualified Social Worker to join our CIC - Court Team in Northamptonshire. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic team that is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, ensuring they receive the support they need during court proceedings.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:
Preparing and presenting reports for court, ensuring they meet legal and procedural standards. Conducting assessments and developing care plans tailored to the individual needs of children and families. Collaborating with other professionals, including legal teams, schools, and health services, to ensure a holistic approach to child welfare. Providing ongoing support and guidance to families, helping them navigate the complexities of the court system. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with relevant legislation and policies.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in child protection and court work, with a strong understanding of relevant legislation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
