Join our dedicated team in Buckinghamshire as a CIC/LAC Social Worker, where you will play a vital role in supporting children in care and care leavers. In this rewarding position, you will work collaboratively with children, families, and partner agencies to ensure the best outcomes for those in your care. Your expertise will help to build meaningful relationships and provide essential support to vulnerable children and young people.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify their needs and strengths. Developing and implementing care plans tailored to individual circumstances. Providing direct support and advocacy for children in care and care leavers. Working closely with multi-disciplinary teams to coordinate services and interventions. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with local authority policies.To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children in care, including knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
