Join our dedicated team in Coventry as a Qualified Social Worker specializing in Children in Care aged 0-12 years. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to vulnerable children and their families. Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children’s needs and circumstances. Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with children, families, and multi-agency partners. Providing ongoing support and intervention to children in care, ensuring their emotional and physical well-being. Maintaining accurate and timely records, adhering to statutory requirements and local policies. Participating in court proceedings and presenting evidence as required.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in child protection and working with children in care. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
