Join our dedicated team in Croydon as a Senior Practitioner in the Family Assessment Team, where you will play a vital role in safeguarding and supporting families in need. In this position, you will lead assessments, provide expert guidance to less experienced practitioners, and contribute to the development of effective intervention strategies that promote the well-being of children and families.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive family assessments to identify needs and risks. Providing supervision and support to junior social workers and students. Collaborating with multi-agency partners to ensure cohesive service delivery. Developing and implementing care plans that are tailored to individual family circumstances. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with legal and organizational standards.To be considered for this role, you must possess a recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent) and be registered with Social Work England. Additionally, you should have substantial experience in child protection and family assessment, along with strong analytical and communication skills. A proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing complex cases is essential.
