We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate CWD Social Worker to join our team in Northamptonshire. As a CWD Social Worker, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people with disabilities. You will work collaboratively with families, local authorities, and multi-disciplinary teams to ensure that the needs of the children are met effectively and sensitively.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments to identify the needs of children with disabilities and their families. Developing and implementing tailored support plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Monitoring and reviewing cases to ensure that interventions are effective and responsive to changing needs. Providing guidance and support to families, helping them navigate available resources and services. Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in accordance with local policies and procedures.The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children and young people with disabilities, preferably in a social work capacity. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
