Join our dedicated team in Derbyshire as a Social Worker in the Children with Disabilities team, where you will play a pivotal role in supporting children and their families. We are seeking an enthusiastic and qualified social worker who is passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of children with disabilities. In this role, you will work collaboratively with families, education providers, and health professionals to ensure that children receive the care and services they need to thrive.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children's needs and developing tailored support plans. Providing direct support to children and their families, ensuring their voices are heard and respected. Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to coordinate services and interventions. Monitoring and reviewing progress, adjusting plans as necessary to meet changing needs. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with legal and organizational standards.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, CQSW, DipSW). Registered with Social Work England. Experience working with children with disabilities or in a similar field. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
