We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our Children in Need (CIN) Team in Devon. This rewarding position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of children and families in our community. As a QSW, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of children and their families, developing intervention plans, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality support services.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs and risks faced by children and families. Developing, implementing, and reviewing child protection plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in accordance with legal and organizational standards. Participating in multi-agency meetings to ensure a coordinated approach to safeguarding and support. Providing advice, guidance, and support to families, helping them to access necessary services and resources.The ideal candidate will possess essential qualifications and skills, including:
A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Demonstrable experience in child protection and safeguarding practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with children and families.
