Join our dynamic Corporate Parenting Team at Devon - TM - and make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable children and young people. We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Qualified Social Worker to join our team.
Key responsibilities and duties:
Provide high-quality, child-centered social work services to children in care, care leavers, and those on the edge of care. Undertake assessments, create care plans, and review the progress of children and young people under our care. Work collaboratively with internal and external partners to ensure the best outcomes for children and young people. Participate in case conferences, court proceedings, and other relevant meetings to advocate for the needs of children in care.Essential qualifications and skills:
Qualified Social Worker with a relevant social work qualification and registration with Social Work England. Demonstrated experience in working with children and young people in a social work setting. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make evidence-based decisions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, families, and stakeholders.Additional requirements or benefits:
