We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our Child Protection (CP) Team in Doncaster. As a Social Worker in our CP Team, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding children and ensuring their well-being, working collaboratively with families and partner agencies.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective care plans that promote the safety and welfare of children. Working closely with families, providing support and guidance to facilitate positive change. Collaborating with multi-agency partners to ensure a coordinated approach to safeguarding. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with legal and organizational standards. Participating in court proceedings and providing expert testimony when necessary.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent). Current Social Work England registration. Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding practices. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound judgments. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective engagement with children, families, and professionals.
