Join our dedicated Permanence Team in Dorset as a Qualified Social Worker (QSW) and make a lasting impact in the lives of children and families. We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate individual who is committed to delivering high-quality social work services. In this role, you will work collaboratively with colleagues and partner agencies to promote the welfare of children, ensuring they have safe, stable, and nurturing environments.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Assessing the needs of children and their families to inform intervention strategies. Developing and implementing care plans that align with the best interests of children. Conducting regular reviews and updates of care plans, ensuring they meet changing needs. Building strong relationships with children, families, and external stakeholders. Providing expert advice and support to foster carers and adoptive families. Maintaining accurate and timely records in compliance with local policies and procedures.To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Demonstrable experience in child protection and safeguarding. Strong assessment and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
