As a Senior Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:
Assessing the needs of children and their connected carers, ensuring their welfare and safety. Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Providing guidance and support to connected carers, helping them navigate the complexities of caregiving. Conducting regular reviews and monitoring the progress of children and their placements. Working closely with other agencies and stakeholders to promote best practices in child welfare.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Significant experience in child protection and working with families. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
